Production Editor

The New Internationalist is looking for a thoroughly organized, efficient person to work as a member of the editorial team in our Oxford office. The Production Editor will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the editorial processes, managing editorial production of the New Internationalist magazine, books, annual publications (calendars, diaries) and handling the administration and scheduling related to those processes.

Editorial Assistant Intern

Plexus Publishing Limited

Location: London

Deadline for application: Sunday May 7, 2017

The intern will offer administrative and editorial support to the Editorial Director, producing illustrated books on pop culture, film, photography, fashion, style, and music. The role is wide-ranging and will include administrative work, editorial, publicity and marketing; checking proofs, and writing copy for press releases and marketing points. A meticulous eye for detail and an ability to write creatively are also essential.  A flexible all-rounder is needed with excellent communication skills, including a confident telephone manner.
