Ruper Heseltine was appointed deputy chairman of Haymarket Exhibitions in 2004 and named deputy chairman of the Haymarket Group in 2005. Rupert joined Haymarket in 1994 on BBC Gardeners’ World Live after a spell working for Maxwell Business Communications. He began his consumer magazines career in Teddington on Car Hi-Fi, moving with it to Wilmington Plc where he went to work on Wine & Spirit International before returning for the launch of Sky Sports.

Prior to his position as director of PRWeek, Rupert moved to the business group in Hammersmith to work on the launch of Revolution. He then joined the launch team of PRWeek in the USA before returning to the UK as associate publisher of the recently acquired Gramophone. Following this he became publisher of What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision and oversaw the launch of The Daily Telegraph Your Money.
