Parkstone International is an international publishing house specialised in art books. All of our books are published in English, French and German, and many are released in various other languages. The Editorial Department has one office based in the centre ofHo Chi Minh City,Vietnam.

REQUIREMENTS: 

We are recruiting university students or recent graduates with degrees in art history, literature, languages (French, German, English) to participate in a twelve-month internship in our Ho Chi Minh City office. Proficiency in a foreign language is required; fluency is preferred, but not required. Experience with book publishing is not required, but applicants should be motivated, eager to learn and detail-oriented. 

The anticipated start date is Monday 1 October 2012.

 

JOB PROFILE: 

–         Assisting the head of the editorial department

–         Editing and proofreading texts and layouts

–         Short translations

–         Interaction within an international editorial team

–         Iconographic research

–         Daily work in immediate association with graphic designers

–         Designing layouts

 

WORKING HOURS: 

Full time:           Monday to Friday: 8h – 12h and 13h – 17h

                        One Saturday per month: 8h – 12h

 

COMPENSATION:

Airfare reimbursed up to US$800, in two instalments, first instalment of $400 following probationary period (first two months) and second instalment of $400 at the end of the year. 

US$600/month for the first two months;

US$800/month for the following two months;

US$1000/month for the final eight months of the internship.

 

Complete medical insurance coverage. 

Long-term visa fees covered for the duration of the internship.
