About the Role
As a Senior Marketing Executive you will devise and deliver results-driven marketing campaigns across a list of titles directed at the end-user (authors and readers) in order to drive online usage, encourage high quality submissions and build brand and profile.
You will have a direct relationship with journals and societies and you will have the confidence, diplomacy, and flexibility to help you win support for your marketing plans.
Duties will include:
* preparing annual budgets and plans including setting clear objectives and targets undertaking marketing research where necessary
* using a full range of online marketing and social media tools, as well as direct mail, print advertising, and conference promotion (including international travel)
* preparing marketing reports; attending board meetings to present marketing plans and reports
* liaising with regional marketing and editorial colleagues
About You
You will demonstrate previous marketing experience, preferably in an academic/ publishing environment, which should include campaign implementation.
You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with a wide range of people, to pass on knowledge and skills to others, and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and with external stakeholders.
You will embrace change, remain positive under pressure, and enjoy the support of an interactive team. You will be able to prioritize a challenging workload and will have to ability to work on your own initiative.
The salary offered will be in the region of up to £23,000 depending on the skills and experience. OUP offers a full range of supporting benefits.
