Sophie Goldsworthy

Sophie is Director of Content Strategy and Acquisition for Oxford University Press. Her role includes the development and direction of Oxford’s content strategy across the global research publishing business, aligning Oxford’s commissioning with the evolving content needs of the university sector, and working to maximise the reach, impact, and amplification of the scholarship Oxford publishes. She also plays an active role in coaching and mentoring within the wider business, and beyond it.

Before joining OUP, in 1995, she freelanced as an editor, copy-writer, and project manager for a range of publishing businesses. Beyond her professional role, she is a writer and photographer, and author of The Rough Guide to Digital Photography.
