Are you a problem solver with an interest in digital publishing?

 We have an exciting new opportunity within the Oxford based Academic division of a leading international publisher to join the Product Management team and assist with the product development and maintenance of an award-winning digital portfolio. The portfolio includes titles and digital resources which range from Drama and Screen Studies to Social Sciences and Visual Arts.

 As a Product Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that products and content updates are delivered on time, as well as helping with the development of brand new titles.

 Key responsibilities:

 

  • Providing ad hoc support to the Product Management team to ensure updates and enhancements for the digital products are delivered according to schedule
  • Creating and editing website pages and loading new content on the publisher’s platform
  • Liaising with Sales and Marketing to discuss addition of new content
  • Becoming a product expert, in order to answer queries from Sales, Marketing and Customer Services and assist with troubleshooting
  • Help identifying issues and bugs for new products
  • Attending product meetings
  • Providing reports on website usage to identify opportunities for features improvements

 

This role will suit someone keen to begin a publishing career in digital product development and/or web editing. You will have a calm, problem-solving approach, and a good understanding of digital publishing. Coding or CMS experience will be advantageous.
