We are looking for a well-organized, quick learning individual to join our temping pool within the UK Academic Stock Planning Department of Oxford University Press. The department consists of the reprint production, global print on demand and import/commission demand planning teams for OUP’s Global Academic division. You will be assisting the Stock Planning team whose activities range from print manufacturing, data archiving, content management, and data management in OUP’s central financial system.
Skills and Competencies Required:
A quick learner with good computer literacy in Microsoft Office – Word/ Excel
Good attention to detail and general research ability
Ability to adapt to computer systems and databases
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good organising and planning skills
Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.
Type of Work:
Working copy management for domestic and imported titles
Working copy library maintenance
Production file management
Data input onto core systems
