Bookcareers.com jobs initiative
The merits of social networking sites such as Twitter and LinkedIn in job hunting were among the topics discussed at the Oxford Bookcareers.com job club held at Oxford Brookes University in March. Guest speaker Claire Russell, HR Advisor at John Wiley & Sons, Oxford, outlined Wiley’s recruitment procedures, and initiated a lively discussion on how to look for a job, how to write the best CV and interview tips and techniques.
